they ask no questions, they pass no criticisms."

All-Around READing Dogs
Florida ~ Beau

A special time with students
after Spring Break.

Ahhh, those medical students
really know how to make a guy feel good.

As if all that volunteering weren't enough to keep this energetic fellow busy, Beau works full time at Skinner Vignola McLean Architects where his chief responsibilities are official greeter, distribution of paychecks, and notifying the office staff when the mail arrives.

Beau happily spends time taking part in many community events throughout Florida.

I wish they'd let me chase the ball
down the field.

When he has some spare time, Beau loves squeaky toys of all kinds, and he especially likes playing in the water. Devoted to his family, he fiercely protects his yard from squirrels, possums, and the big trucks that steal their stuff on trash day.

Books with Goldendoodles, Golden Retrievers, or Poodles in them include:

Rusty, the Runaway Golden Retriever, by Vince Stead
A Poodle in Paris, by Connie Kaldor

Meet Beau, a friendly Goldendoodle born January 10, 2014. He’s called a “doodle” because his mom was a Golden Retriever and his dad was a Moyen Poodle. If you’ve never heard the term “Moyen Poodle,” it means a fourth size of poodle—between miniature and standard—a distinct breed more common in Europe. Another fun fact: Poodles actually originated in Germany, not France, and the name is evolved from German words like “pudeln,” or “pudelhund,” meaning to splash in water.

Goldendoodle therapy dog

Yay, it's Therapy Day!

Confident, intelligent, joyful, friendly, and very playful, Beau combines the best attributes of his mixed heritage. His naturally goofy spirit brings laughter and love to whomever he comes in contact with, and he would never say no to a chin scratch or a tummy rub.

Oh please, one more time.

We all had great
birthday party today!

In addition to his busy life volunteering in hospitals, colleges, senior residential facilities, and taking part in community events throughout Florida, he is in the process of becoming a HOPE Crisis Response Dog.
